Know About Sandeept

Hello and Namaste,

Welcome to Stories of Sandeept.

I’m Ankit Dhakal, writing under the pen name Sandeept. By profession, I work in public administration, but my enduring passion lies in understanding ideas and sharing them through writing.

This blog brings together two interests that have long shaped the way I think: a fascination with how societies, institutions, and people work, and a love of storytelling. Here you’ll find essays on philosophy, constitutional law, democracy, history, and public affairs alongside short stories, book reviews, character analyses, and creative writing. Although these subjects may appear unrelated, they are connected by a common purpose to explore the principles that influence our choices, our communities, and our future.

I enjoy asking questions that do not always have easy answers. Why do people believe what they believe? What makes a society free? How do institutions earn or lose the public’s trust? How can fiction reveal truths that facts alone cannot? These are the kinds of questions that inspire much of what I write.

Whether you’re here for thoughtful analysis or a compelling story, I hope you leave with a new perspective or a question worth carrying a little longer. Thank you for reading, and I hope you’ll join me as I continue learning, writing, and exploring one idea at a time.
